While extrinsic motivators such as pay are important to employee engagement, the research indicates that intrinsic motivators are even more important.
What are these intrinsic motivators? After extensive research Professor Kenneth Thomas identified four intrinsic motivators for employee engagement. An employee’s sense of meaningfulness, sense of choice, sense of competence, and sense of progress, are key intrinsic motivators that drive employee engagement.
The Work Engagement Profile Assessment measures individual employee engagement for these four dimensions of engagement. We offer this assessment through our confidential web portal.
